By Train
Within Germany, Deutsche Bahn is the best means of transportation. It offers direct connections or connections with max. one change from the following cities.

By plane
Dortmund has an airport with flights from Munich and Vienna within the German-speaking area. From the airport, the Airport Express takes you to Dortmund's main train station within 25 minutes. From there it is only a short walk to the concert hall.

Hotels for visitors
There is a wide range of hotels and accommodation options in Dortmund. You can find these, for example, on comparison portals such as Check24 or Booking.com. Via AirBnB you can regularly find well-equipped private alternatives. Within the city ring [to map view] you can easily reach the concert hall within 15 minutes on foot.
Hotels for participants
For active participants and their companions (supporters) there are special hotel contingents available. In order to call up these, you only need to contact the chosen hotel and make a reservation with the respective booking code.

Hotels for Judges, VIP Ensembles and Guests of honor
Members of the judging panel, guests of honor, VIP ensembles, organisation team and accompanying persons will be accomodated in the hotels Esplanade Dortmund. Abour Barbershop Music Festival 2023
"A Cappella Love" is the motto under which from May 18 through 21, 2023 about 400 singers from all over Germany and the world will meet again in Konzerthaus Dortmund. Together, these are over 40 choruses and quartets, which put the hall in very special vibrations during this weekend.
Experience the German championships for Barbershop choruses and Barbershop quartets or let yourself be carried away in the evening gala shows on Friday and Saturday. Exhilarating performances and the 4-part a cappella sound of barbershop harmony singing are waiting for you.
