Wait a minute - didn't EKBC already celebrate its 30th birthday in 2017?
That's right. But when a founding member reaches his 80th birthday, that's also a reason to celebrate. Instead of handshakes and hugs, there were "only" personal wishes, poems and video greetings from many long-time friends during a Zoom session, but even these were heartfelt pleasures for the celebratee. Because Rudi Kalka is still actively involved as a bass singer, the preparations for a birthday serenade had to be done in secret. But the joy was all the greater when the Polecat song with individual lyrics could then be performed - assembled from 37 individual recordings of almost all current chorus members.
With this release we wish the jubilarian once again all the best: Gratulacje, drogi Rudi!

On 05.10.2018 the BinG! general meeting has elected a new BinG! board. After the 2-year term of General Manager Franziska Dickhut ended, she did not let herself be put up for election again. President Gabriele von Rauch and treasurer Anna Taferner resigned outside of their term of office.
Every year, BinG! Harmony College requires a great deal of organization, loads of time and lots of know-how. Fortunately, we’ve always been able to find dedicated, diligent helpers, who provide for a structured concept, detailed preparation, and keep everything running smoothly. Most of this happens in the background.
The Barbershop Music Festival in spring 2018 only lasted 3 days, but these 3 days seem to have left a lasting impression on the a cappella scene in Germany.
